Ready-mix supply
C15 to C50 batched wet on a fully automated plant, with seasonal mix-design adjustment and higher grades on request.
Sunway City · Msasa · Harare
Phoenix Ready-Mix batches C15 to C50 from a fully automated plant in Msasa — 400m³ an hour, ten 15m³ mixers, and an on-site laboratory that tests every batch before it leaves the yard.
Who we are
Phoenix Ready-Mix is a trusted supplier of high-quality premix concrete for the full range of construction work — from domestic slabs to large-scale infrastructure. Our mixes are engineered for strength, durability and consistency, so performance is the same on the first load and the fortieth.
We batch grades from C15 to C50, with higher-strength mixes produced on request to meet specialised project requirements. Mix designs are adjusted for the season, so what you pour in August performs exactly as engineered — no surprises at strip time.
Concrete grades
We provide a wide range of premix concrete grades tailored for different applications.
What we do
Supply, delivery, testing and maintenance all sit under one roof — which is why booked slots stay booked.
C15 to C50 batched wet on a fully automated plant, with seasonal mix-design adjustment and higher grades on request.
Ten 15m³ mixers plus pump support. Night shift, weekend, deadline week — call and we’ll load. Off the tar and into the bush: if you can get there, so can we.
Compressive, flexural, slump, air-content and chemical testing, in accordance with ASTM C39, BS EN 12390 and SABS standards.
Certified heavy-vehicle technicians maintaining, repairing and refurbishing the fleet — and available to keep your mixers running too.
Quality assurance through precision
Concrete is only as good as the evidence behind it. Every load we dispatch is backed by results from our own on-site laboratory.
Concrete cylinders are cast and cured on-site, then tested at 7, 14 and 28-day intervals using calibrated hydraulic presses. Results confirm every mix meets the specified MPa rating for its intended structural application.
Workability is assessed on every batch prior to dispatch. Slump cone and flow table tests verify the mix achieves correct consistency for pumped placements, standard pours and specialised structural applications.
Beam specimens are tested in third-point loading to evaluate tensile performance — essential for industrial floor slabs, road pavements and any design with specific crack-resistance requirements.
Pressure meter testing confirms correct air-entrainment levels, while unit-weight checks verify fresh concrete density — both critical to long-term durability, mix uniformity and resistance to environmental degradation.
Incoming cement batches and admixtures are verified for consistency and compliance. Raw material checks safeguard mix performance and confirm all components conform to project specifications and international standards.
Workshop
Phoenix Ready-Mix operates a fully-equipped in-house workshop dedicated to the maintenance, repair and refurbishment of mixer trucks — ours, and yours.
Comprehensive mechanical repairs covering engines, gearboxes, differentials, brakes and chassis, executed by certified heavy-vehicle technicians. Scheduled maintenance programmes keep vehicles compliant and road-worthy year-round.
Full drum strip-down, internal blade inspection, wear-plate replacement and precision re-welding. Refurbishment restores original mixing efficiency, reduces fuel consumption and significantly extends drum service life.
Diagnosis and repair of all hydraulic circuits: drum rotation motors, pump drives, discharge chutes and stabiliser systems. Component upgrades improve operational pressure, eliminate recurring leaks and maximise uptime.
Advanced fault-finding across engine management, PTO controllers, body sensors, telematics and lighting — diagnosed and resolved using manufacturer-grade tools and approved wiring standards.
In-house MIG and arc welding for structural repairs, guard fabrication, custom brackets and bespoke component production. All fabrication work is load-tested and quality-inspected before return to service.
